HOME SCHOOL LEGAL DEFENSE ASSOCIATION
Home School Legal Defense Association is a national nonprofit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional

right of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children and to protect family freedoms. HSLDA provides

homeschooling-related legal advice and representation to over 80,000 member families, promotes homeschool-friendly

legislation at the state and federal levels, and offers information and resources to encourage and support all homeschoolers.

TEXAS HOME SCHOOL COALITION

Texas Home School Coalition is a statewide homeschool support organization. The mission of THSC is informing and inspiring families and promoting homeschooling and families in Texas. THSC also operates a separate political action arm that works to advance and advocate for liberty, homeschooling and families in Texas as well as inform and elect advocates and defenders of homeschooling and families.

TEXAS HOME EDUCATORS
Texas Home Educators is a statewide homeschool support organization. T.H.E. serves the Texas homeschool community by providing information and help in homeschooling and by working to preserve the freedoms in homeschooling that we are afforded under Texas state laws. T.H.E. exists to enhance, strengthen, and cultivate the grass roots of home education by promoting and advocating for home-schooling, partnering with local organizations which need support and training, and by providing an umbrella organization assisting individual families and local home-schooling groups to come together for events.

TEXANS FOR HOMESCHOOL FREEDOM

Texans for Homeschool Freedom is a statewide grassroots parental rights advocacy group dedicated to the support of families who apply their Constitutionally-based liberty by choosing to take control of their children’s education in the manner and setting that is best suited to each family, free of any government interference or support.​

EXTRAORDINARY ENRICHMENT
Extraordinary Enrichment is a statewide community of homeschooling parents devoted to helping one another find extraordinary enrichment opportunities, competitions and resources for homeschooled children in Texas. Extraordinary Enrichment is a support ministry of Extraordinary Education.

TRANSCRIPTMAKER

TEA HOME SCHOOLING INFORMATION
The Texas Education Agency provides some limited information about home schooling as a courtesy to parents interested educating their children at home.  The TEA does not regulate, index, monitor, approve, register, or accredit the programs available to parents who choose to home school.
